Pete's Bio

Hi,

 

I started playing guitar aged 7, back home in my native Perth, Western Australia. By aged 9 I was already teaching guitar for pocket money, and I did my first 'paid' gig at 13.

After a decade of playing in various bands across Australia, the UK beckoned. I wanted to broaden my musical experience. Fortunately, the gamble paid off and I started getting offers for session and touring work with artists as musically diverse as: Dido, Natalie Imbruglia, Anastacia, Gary Barlow, Gareth Gates, Alfie Boe, Paolo Nutini, Kevin Simm, Cassandra, Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes To Hollywood), Rick Wakeman, Callaghan and Haken. I have also been integral to various original projects in that time: One Eskimo, Hotleg (Justin Hawkins. The Darkness), and Headspace.  Having served time in the musicals 'We Will Rock You' and 'Rock Of Ages', I am also no stranger to London's West End.

When I'm not performing live or in the studio, my time is spent writing, producing and teaching guitar privately.
